Your Pet Portrait photoshoot lasts between one and one and a half hours, in your pet’s favourite outdoor spot - Dolly’s Mum waited until the bluebells were out in her local woods, while Shelby’s wanted images on and next to the canal (and Louie as a puppy had a thing for spring onions). If you’re open to suggestions, I have a few lovely walks including a circular route through Drew’s Pond Woods on the edge of Devizes…me and possibly your dog in a chalk stream is a great end to a photo-walk I love. During our time together I’ll take a variety of shots from different angles, with different lenses, allowing you to have a good selection of images from which to choose your favourites for your walls.

After your Pet Portrait photoshoot we’ll have a follow-up session where I’ll reveal the best images from the shoot; you can select 3 for digital sharing (included in the package) and as many as you wish to be professionally printed and framed - the costs for this depend on the size and type of print and frame, but are exactly the same as for my prints that I sell in the Shambles, from my boat and online. I’ll bring physical samples of prints and frames with me so that you’ll be able to choose what suits your walls and budget best; with prices starting from £15 for an unframed 7x5” print in a 10x8” mount you may decide to get gifts for your pet’s fans as well as for yourself!

Rest assured, I will never sell copies of your Pet Portrait to anyone else (and I’m often asked!); I would love however to be able to use a few of my favourite images from the session for use online for publicity purposes and printed to show off both your beautiful pet and my photography. Copyright and high-resolution files from the shoot remain with me, but you will always be able to purchase more images in the future at the going rate; I have copies of copies of all files safely stored for future-proofing!
